Meal kit pricing, Australia
What will one box cost you every week — after the offer?
Every meal kit advertises a price per serve that is not the price you keep paying. The number that runs for fifty-two weeks is the one with delivery counted, the introductory discount removed, and any area surcharge the provider never told you about. This calculator works that out from prices each provider published — and when a provider did not publish part of it, says so instead of filling the gap.
My Foodie Box publishes no price for this box, so it is not in the comparison.
A “+” means that figure is a floor: the provider does not publish enough of the cost to give a settled number. No figure here is exact.
Work out what one box actually costs you
Three answers, and an optional fourth for an offer you were actually shown. Nothing is sent anywhere — the arithmetic runs in your browser against prices each provider published on 2026-10-04, and every number points back to the page it came from.
Some answers still need fixing
Choose a provider, a household size and a meal count, then press “Work out my weekly cost”.
Nothing is preselected and no offer amount is filled in for you — this site will not invent a discount and then call it a price.
Start from the decision you are actually making
Each of these answers one question. Not all of them need the calculator.
Find out what one box costs you
Three answers, then weekly, monthly, yearly and per-serve figures, with delivery counted the way the provider counts it.
Understand why a price is a floor
Per-serving versus per-box, shipping that is included versus unknown, and the four different reasons a total cannot be exact.
Read a per-serve headline properly
Why “$8.25 per serve” is not $8.25 × your meals, and what a box price already containing shipping does to the maths.
Price an offer you were actually shown
What an introductory discount changes, what it does not change, and how to work out the week the real price starts.
Decide how big a box to order
Why a cheaper per-serve price can cost more overall when half the box is never eaten.

What this site will not do
- It does not rank meal kits or publish a “best box”. This site has never received a box from any of these providers, so a taste or quality score would be invented.
- It does not publish discount codes or claim a lowest price. No introductory offer could be verified from a first-party page on 2026-10-04, so the default figure is the ongoing one.
- It does not earn a commission from any link on this site. A paid link would make “independent” a word rather than a fact.
- It does not tell you a box is deliverable to your address. Delivery coverage is per postcode and changes, so the calculator sends you to the provider's own check.
- It does not collect anything. No email, no postcode, no dietary or health record, no chatbot.
